Savannah grew up in Concord, NC, and moved to Raleigh in 2013 to attend NC State University.
After obtaining her BS in Nutrition, Savannah completed the lactation program through the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute at UNC Gillings School of Public Health and received
her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification in 2019. While
pursuing her IBCLC, Savannah also attended NC State for graduate school to receive her
Master’s of Nutrition with a concentration in maternal and infant nutrition. Following her
education, Savannah served as a WIC Nutritionist at the Granville Vance Public Health
Department, where she also held roles as Breastfeeding Coordinator, Lactation Consultant, and
Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Manager. Savannah is passionate about lactation and is
dedicated to empowering families to reach their infant feeding goals by providing equitable and
quality lactation support.
Savannah lives in Durham with her husband and very spoiled puppy. Savannah enjoys meditation, yoga, reading, and spending time outdoors.
