COVID vaccines are available for ages 6 months and up. Please call our office if you would like to schedule an appointment for a vaccine or have any questions. We highly recommend that all our eligible patients stay up to date on COVID vaccines as well as routine vaccines including flu vaccines.
COVID testing is available in our office by appointment during office hours. We have both same-day rapid tests and PCR testing available. PCR test results will be delivered to your email the following day. We continue to have COVID-19 circulating in our community as well as flu and many other viruses. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fatigue, sore throat, cough, or runny nose. Not all people have a fever with COVID-19.
Asymptomatic people (no fatigue, fever, sore throat, runny nose, or cough) exposed to COVID no longer need to quarantine unless they are in high-risk congregate settings but should wear a mask for 10 days and get tested at least five days after exposure.
The Food and Drug Administration is advising people with and without symptoms to test multiple times if they get a negative result on an at-home COVID-19 antigen test due to the possibility of false-negative results.
